The age-old saying reminds us that the holidays are a time to “eat, drink and be merry!” So if that’s the case, why do so many of us feel so stressed? Whether due to economic conditions, health disparities, racial and social unrest, mental health conditions, or grief from the loss of loved ones, the Black community may be even more at risk of depression and anxiety this holiday season than in previous years. It’s become increasingly important that we prioritize our mental and emotional well-being during this time.
Join BXKC for our final Representation Matters of 2022 featuring a panel of professionals who are dedicated to ensuring our community takes care of themselves in a holistic way. Learn ways to navigate the holidays while keeping your mind, body, and soul-centered.
